Q&A
When will the club open?
It is a great question! We are shooting to open in Q1’2026. It is hard to pin-point exact timing as there are many unknowns, like weather, inspections, and Eversource, that can impact our construction schedule.
Is it a month‑to‑month or yearly membership?
We’re building a strong, year‑round community of pickleball and padel players and focusing on a premium experience at an affordable price. To make this possible, memberships require a 12‑month commitment, but you can pay month‑to‑month. Your first month is a trial—if you’re not happy, you can cancel anytime within the first 30 days with no penalties, no questions asked.
Can I put my membership on hold?
Yes. You can put your membership on hold for only $30/month if you’re traveling for an extended period, or if you’re sick or injured.
Can I pay for additional reservations beyond my 1 active reservation at a time?
Yes. If members would like to book multiple court reservations, they can do that at a 25% discount rate.
I play with a group of friends. Can we get a group discount?
At this time, Open Play only offers group discounts through Corporate Memberships. If your company is interested, please send them to openplayppc.com/sponsorship. As an employee, you can save significantly through a corporate plan.
Do you offer couples and family memberships?
Yes. Additional adults (16+) receive a $10/month discount, and children’s memberships (under 16) are $119/month. Email [email protected] to discuss and set up your family membership.
Is the Fitness area included in my membership?
Yes. The Fitness area is included at no additional charge for all members and their guests. To reduce the risk of injury, we encourage all players to warm up and stretch before and after play.
Can I bring guests?
Yes. Members can bring up-to 3 different guests for free each month.
Will the club be open to non‑members?
Yes. Visitors are welcome to play at the club. Non‑members can book courts and join select organized events by paying a guest/non‑member fee.
How long can I book a court for?
Members can book courts for 60 or 90 minutes at no additional charge.
How will you make sure I play with people at my level?
We will use DUPR ratings for all leveled organized pickleball events and NRPR ratings for all leveled padel events to group players by skill.
What does “One Active Reservation at a Time” mean?
It means you can only have one upcoming court reservation at any given time. Once that reservation is completed, you can book your next one. This helps ensure fair access for all members.
How many days in advance can I book a court?
• All‑Inclusive Unrestricted Members: 7‑day booking window
• All‑Inclusive Limited Hours Members: 5‑day booking window
• Non‑members: 3‑day booking window
Members are always prioritized; non‑members can only reserve times that remain after members have booked.
What happens if I book a court but have to cancel?
Members and non‑members can cancel up to 24 hours before the reservation at no charge, so others have a chance to book that time. No‑shows or cancellations within 24 hours will be charged a non‑member court fee. This policy will be enforced from day one to build a culture of integrity and accountability.
Is table tennis and the golf simulator included in membership?
Table tennis is included and is available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. The golf simulator is a paid add‑on. Members can add All‑Inclusive Golf for $50/month, which includes unlimited 1‑hour golf bay bookings (with one active reservation at a time)
What are the pickleball court dimensions and ceiling height?
All pickleball courts are 30' x 60' regulation size. Ceiling height ranges from 25' to 30', depending on your location on the court, so clearance will not be an issue.
I don’t have proper equipment or attire.
Our pro shop carries everything you need to get on court. You’ll be able to rent or purchase paddles and other essentials on site.
